BOSS+ Workshop 2026
A Resounding Success!
The BOSS+ Obstetric Skills Workshop, organised under the banner of NARCHI Delhi at HIMSR, New Delhi, on 10th October 2026 (9 AM–4 PM), was a tremendous success!
48 out of 50 registered delegates attended, braving traffic restrictions and travelling from Kanpur, Lucknow, Bokaro, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana, Noida, Ghaziabad, Dehradun and many other places!
With 13 hands-on skill stations, the workshop offered individualised attention and practical training on dummies and tissue models, covering internal iliac artery ligation, stepwise devascularisation (SWD), haemostatic techniques, shoulder dystocia, placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), breech delivery, Patwardhan technique, CPT repair and bladder injury repair.
Organised under the guidance of Dr Aruna Nigam, President, NARCHI Delhi, the workshop was made possible by the dedicated efforts and teamwork of the HIMSR team: Dr Sumedha Sharma, Dr Nidhi Gupta, Dr Arifa Anwar, Dr Dina Aisa, Dr Supriya, Dr Lubna, Dr Pratibha, Dr Akansha and Dr Daman.
A day dedicated to hands-on learning, skill enhancement and safer obstetric practice — demonstrating the power of teamwork and our shared commitment to excellence in maternal care!
